Clash of the Titans

The Clash of the Titans is a great action movie that kept me excited all through it. What I liked most about it, in terms of the message, is the way the director shows that fighting for what you believe in is worth it, but not because of the result but because of the experiences you gain in all the process. The message is very powerful in the movie because in the end both opposite sides were wrong: the gods and the mortals. Gods -whom in our occidental perspective are perfect- in the movie appear like humans, with mistakes, negative feeling, and just like mortals who are not always right, they appear like individuals that have to learn from their experiences.

Believing in a god can help people set an example in their lives of what is ideal, of what is right, but I think that what could help people even more is to look up for someone that has the same limitations than we all do. Being able to identify with who we admire and knowing that we are capable of achieving what they have is a lot more motivating than knowing that the perfection of a god could never be achieved.

There are always two sides for a conflict and most of the time both are wrong and both are right. There are always reasons for every side that are very valuable, when we focus only in our point of view, we are affecting ourselves because this prevent as from learning. Considering other points of view enriches our knowledge and it gets us closer to whats real.

In the movie both sides learned important things in the process of fighting for what they believed in. It didn't matter who was right in the end, but how learning from their experience made them better.
